How to Count Breathing Rate
- For one-minute count how many times your chest goes “out”.
- For a small child you may need to place your hand on their chest or tummy.
- Please take respiratory (breathing) rate and Peak Flow Meter readings (if the patient is old enough) before calling your Doctor or Nurse.
